Can you briefly introduce yourself?

Sure! I'm Jang Jiyeon, a marketer at HOMESINKOREA. I mainly handle Instagram management, focusing on tasks like uploading Reels, managing creators, responding to inquiries, and planning video content strategies. Currently, I'm working on creating office-related content.

It’s been just over a month since you started working, right? What led you to join Homes in Korea?

I didn’t actually apply for the position; I was approached with the opportunity. It started with a casual coffee chat with Ido, and after that, I had a second interview with Minsu and Sony, which led to me joining the team. Before this, I worked in UX/UI design and product planning. Since it was also a startup, most of my ideas were implemented, and I really liked that. I enjoyed seeing my suggestions actively considered and executed. During the coffee chat and interviews, I got the feeling that HOMESINKOREA would also value my input and easily incorporate my ideas. That’s why I decided to join, and I’m happy with that aspect of the work so far.

This might be a bit of a personal question, but do you have any personal goals?

Leaving aside anything related to HOMESINKOREA…? Then, I'd say my personal goal is to build a happy family with someone great. I guess you could say something like “a harmonious family leads to success in everything” (laughs).

(So, do you want to get married soon?)

Yes, it would be nice if it happens.

(Could you share your Instagram with us?)

Sure! Feel free to reach out anytime. (@jensvve)

Continuing on, what would you say is the most satisfying aspect of working here?

The most satisfying part is that my ideas are actively taken into consideration. I like that the work environment isn’t passive, and I can take initiative in what I do. Also, I enjoy discussing content strategies with creators in English. I wouldn’t normally get the chance to meet these creators, but getting to talk with them and understanding their thought process behind content creation has been really fun.

What’s the happiest moment for you while working here?

Hmm, probably when we’re just chatting! The atmosphere is really relaxed, so I feel happiest when we’re casually talking about everyday things, almost like we’re just friends. It feels natural and enjoyable.
